Well done Darling

It's been ages since I wrote, for which I apologise - it's been a busy couple of weeks. First, we've decided to sell our house. A simple enough idea in theory, but whoever knew that HIPs are a total pain in the arse and cost a bloody fortune. And really, I can't see the point. Surely this is just what solicitors did anyway? Money for old rope, it seems to me. But it's law, so we have to do it. I wasn't quite prepared for how long it was going to take though. Finally, our place has gone on the market today - just in time for the revised stamp duty level - hooray!! We're hoping to get just under £250,000, so we should be laughing - fingers crossed.

In between moving out half our stuff to the new storage unit (to ensure our home is showcased to its best possible advantage - read: look bigger) I also came down with a severe case of food poisoning. Not ideal at the best of times, but certainly not in my condition. I didn't eat for a week. People keep telling me how thin I look. Good for me, probably not so great for the baby. But all seems to be going okay - thankfully it's not long until the scan now, and then we can finally go public. No more pretending that 'I just don't feel like sushi today'.
Roll on Good Friday.
